Baltimore gentleman’s club Scores changes name

The Baltimore gentleman’s club Scores will change its name to The Penthouse Club – Baltimore, a spokesperson announced Friday.

The 13,00-square-foot nightclub has been in operation for 12.5 years and recently underwent renovations. The newly named club will be owned and operated by Penthouse Clubs Global Licensing LLC and be the 10th location nationwide.

Scores Baltimore to Re-open as Penthouse Club

On Thursday, September 27, 2018, the gentlemen’s club currently known as Scores Baltimore was approved for a liquor license transfer, which serves as the final step ahead of their official reinvention and name change to The Penthouse Club Baltimore.

The 13,000-square-foot nightclub has undergone an extensive renovation as part of its transition. The Baltimore location will be the tenth Penthouse Club licensed or owned by Penthouse Clubs Global Licensing LLC (PCGL), a wholly owned subsidiary of the privately owned, boutique, hospitality investment firm Kirkendoll Management, LLC. A grand opening is expected in mid-November 2018.

Scores passes the mantle, and pole, and becomes a Penthouse Club

Scores, a “gentleman’s club” that opened in 2006 a short ways from Baltimore’s infamous red light district known as The Block, is rebranding as The Penthouse Club-Baltimore, the operators announced this week.

The mantle, and the pole, is passing along with the liquor license. That’s the last step in what the owners are calling a reinvention for the club, which has been considered a pricier alternative to other so-called gentlemen’s clubs in town.

A grand opening is expected in November.
